Can we just appreciate how good of a movie THE PROTECTOR was?

Just saw the thread for the new XXX sequel that'll have ya boy Tony Jaa in it. I remember the first movie I saw him in being The Protector some number of years ago. It was slightly corny but it had some of the best live action fighting I've ever seen.

crazy that the original ong bak was more than a decade ago, I still remember buying the bootleg and being mesmerized by the fight scenes

classic flick....i still remember copping this on amazon months before it came to the US (still got the tom yum goong dvd in the collection ) everybody was when they released it and i was just like yea i seen that piff a couple months back plus the version i had, had scenes that werent in the theater version and i remember my brother being pissed about that ....ong-bak doesnt hold up that well nowadays for me just from a technical standpoint but this shyt is timeless
