They see me trolling, they hating.....
7 versions of Street Fighter II
3 Street Fighter Alpas
3 versions of Street Fighter III
3 versions Street Fighter IV
2 versions of Marvel Vs Capcom III

Is this a good thing, symbolizing that they actually care about the gamer's opinion and are willing to improve the product for our gaming pleasure or is it just a greedy business scheme to make idiots continuously buy the same shyt over and over again ?

Actually back then they couldn't afford to do simple upgrades to cabs so they had to make new boards to make changes and revisions to the other fighting games listed. the alpha series each game was different and had different gameplay changes as well. Btw you should blame nintendo for laying the groundwork for dlc and revisions on the same game

I just feel that these nikkas got all the time in the world to develop these games so they should be able to get it right the first time

but I guess theres less money to be made that way

Fighting games aren't that simple to just "make" . Any little tweak they made they had to make a new board and etc especially back in the day. The same thing about nintendo is they would rather just let you spend another 60 bucks for a game instead of doing dlc.

If it weren't for Dragon's Dogma, capcom wouldn't have gotten a dime from me this year :pacspit:

I DON'T MIND DLC REALLY. IT'S JUST WHEN THE DLC IS ALREADY ON THE DISC I GET MAD. SOME GAMES NEVER GET OLD TO ME. HELL YEAH I'D PAY TO GET A FEW EXTRA THINGS.

Ehhh outside of Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 3, their DLC was very reasonable. Furthmore back in the day, every revision of Street Fighter II made considerable changes to the core game.

Street Fighter II - OG version
Street Fighter II Champion Edition -Made Bison, Sagat, Vega, Balrog playable, and rebalanced the roster, also upgraded the sprites some.

Street Fighter II Turbo - Made the sprites better, the music better, added turbo as an option, really revolutionized the game with hacks and the like which led us to

Super Street Fighter - Added 4 more characters, increased the Sprites and animations, Q Sound, better graphics, a revamp really.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo - Added all those things plus super moves and turbo options.

Not exactly small upgrades breh.

That depends on the individuals perspective

but I understand why they had to do it during the Genesis/SNES days, there was no DLC. It's pretty much avoidable now but $$ talks

the only time it's ever bothered me was for mvc3 dlc characters Jill and shuma gorath then street fighter X tekken.
having characters already on the disk pisses me off to the extreme. we paid full price for this game and you have hidden content that we have to buy if we want it?
what happened to unlocking hidden features and characters in games for free doing extremely hard challenges?

sent from my phone nikka....
