Even though she and Layla stole the Beautiful People's gimmick the last solid set of matches in the Divas division was with McCool and Mickie.

I hated her but I can agree with that. She could work a match that's for sure. And it was easy to identify and hate her. People were beggin for a face to beat the shyt out of them, especially for a Lita and Trish reunion to feud...but it never happened. I think that would have been great for the division.
You don't realize what you got until its gone...Michelle is one of those cases. I still think she was over-pushed, don't get me wrong, but she was valuable.

They stopped caring in the least about it when she left. I stopped when Trish left. HHH never gave a fukk. Draw your own conclusions.

Kharma leaving did more to the demise of the division than McCool but them bytches were flawless together
It went sour when Trish left. Hopes were high for Beth Phoenix but she never had any legit competition and Kharma didn't pan out for obvious reasons. I wish they would scrap the "divas" and go back to women wrestlers and let the lady managers and models play their own roles.
When trish and lira left within a month of each other that's when it started going downhill, but once Mickie James was jobbed out and left that's when it became shyt as she was the last one to have women's matches you wanted to see
I honestly stopped caring after Lita retired. I hated on her serious back then, but once she announced she was leaving I realized she was the only one I cared about that was left. Even if I was watching the match to see her get booed or her titties bounce around I still cared about her as a wrestling personality the others were OK...but let's be real, none of the other women, even Mickie got the kind of crowd connection or pops Lita and Trish did.
I saw it on other forums too. Most of the fans who watched the divas just flat out said they didn't care anymore because Lita and Trish were gone.
And the division was mostly garbage then. Melina was still green, Mickie was over but her only opponent was Victoria who was boring and over by that point...that left Ashley, Candice, Maria, Torrie Wilson, Beth Phoenix...I can't remember who else was in the division on RAW.
But look at that list. Only THREE of those women could wrestle. Melina wasn't ready yet. Not much of a division...but it was obvious it was dying from the moment that I noticed they were having Lita wrestle Maria and Candice for titleshots...
