real talk, dude was the bigger standout from the wire as compared to wallace, he had a bit of momentum at the end of the wire run (secret life of bees), but doing that 90210 shyt set him back in being taken seriously - broader exposure tho...i guess duke also cares about his music more than acting? 
real shyt, michael b jordan is a good actor, kept up with the multi-faceted acting on FNL, but i think he also lucked up into being cast into one of those "critic favorites" in fruitvale station which ends up propelling your career more than your acting ability (i.e. jamie foxx in ray...jamie is a good actor, but that movie pushed him further than his skill level if you get what i'm saying).
anyway, just wondering if dude will get back on track, call me a hater, but i'd like to see more young AFRICAN AMERICAN actors (and actresses...not these mixed chicks - zoe, tessa, kiersy) starting to bubble, seems like all the black roles getting filled by african brehs...
