The Kings are in the postseason for the first time since 2006!

They hold home court over the defending champions in this first round series.

Mike Brown came to Sacramento this year with a team needing firm direction after the blockbuster trade that brought Domantas Sabonis back out west. Mike Brown also has immense corporate knowledge of the Warriors machine.

The defending NBA champions have been superb at home but have looked like a lottery team, a low level lottery team at that, on the road for much of this season. They are the classic Jekyl and Hyde squad for this postseason.

Will the inexperienced and up and coming Kings dethrone the champs?

It's not ideal to go up against someone that was part of your coaching squad in the playoffs, but it's still better than the play-ins' long road. Denver would've been easier tho.

This will definitely be a better series than people are expecting. Warriors in 6.
