Can someone recommend Books on the Science of MELANIN. Preferably by a reputable source.

I want a book on melanin to read. Also, unrelated, but @bdizzle what was the name of that book that talked about how Christianity made black people better slaves?

These two books breh. But on the real seeing how christianity was used for our subjugation makes me hold a special hatred in my heart for Christianity.

This isn't from any particular book, but when I was learning about sight I found out that everyone and everything's eyes start out blue then the color they became is due to melanin type of fluctuations. So a person with brown or black or green eyes still has blue eyes underneath. However... a person with blue eyes has no melanin layer over them to give them its correct color. So blue eyes are essentially a genetic defect.
Thats why cats with one blue eye are highly likely (3 out of 10) to be deaf on the side the blue eye is on or suffer other defects on that side as well.

Another interesting thing is that the aliens/angels that came down from the heavens in the bible were completely black (not african or brownskinned, but black like charcoal) which is fascinating because milenea later after the bible was written we are just now starting to understand that melanin protects you from the effects of the radiations of space.

Melanin is crazy, breh. It protects you from so much stuff in the natural universe.

Thanks. I actually downloaded "The Education of the Negro", I am currently reading "Dead Aid" (Book about how Aid to Africa caused more issues than it solves). I wanted to read a book on the subject because I have too many Religious people around me that I would like to offer information to.

I think this is interesting, even more so, what you said about aliens/angels being all black. I heard that the cosmos (the blackness in outer space) is made of melanin...meaning that there is no "empty space" but more so a pool of melanin.

I want learn the science of melanin because I think is we taught this to children while they are young, they will be a lot less insecure about their complexion and and a lot less likely to worship light/white skin. The more I learn the more I value darker skin. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with light skin (I have some light ass family members) but I can't help but look at light skin as a genetic defect/weaker genes.

There's a book by a scientist, named Richard king. I forget the name, tho it might've just been called 'melanin a key to' something. You should be able to find it on amazon. It focuses strictly on melanin and goes into detail about its molecular makeup.
