Can Someone Explain To Me Why D.L. Hughley Was on "Kings Of Comedy" Again 🤔?

Never did get this. I will say that Bernie Mac (R.I.P.) was the funniest cat out of the bunch. Even the fact that Cedric The Entertainer was on their is something i dont get (although he has his moments........at times). Do you consider Hughley to be up their with the aforementioned?

Thats true remember Katt williams found fault w/ Steve ( i for one agree). But D.L always came off as corny as fukk to me. And alot of his jokes seem forced as hell

Bill Cosby's stand up movies when he was younger were funny as hell. The situations presented and outcomes were all hilarious. Add to that, all done without any curse words. That takes effort and he made is effortless. Guess that's why I think Sinbad is great as well.

A brotha wanted to be on the Cosby Show to get that humorous, fatherly advice.

I have to side with you breh because Harvey although wack has his moments. I can't really think of any jokes by Hughley that stand out. (this is out of the many stand ups he has). One thing i do know is his ability to handle hecklers (the fact he gets this should tell us something). Outside of that i have to scratch my head in regards to him.

He was a black star at the time, who else would have replaced him?

Martin Lawrence was too big of star.
Eddie Murphy was too big of star.

Only person I can think of that would be on the others level as far a popularity would be Eddie Griffin but D.L was bigger than him and brought in more money.

They all had or were on major shows on network television, Bernie Mac's came later.

The whole list was a farce. Back then a true line up would have been Chris tucker, Martin Lawrence, Dave chaplle and Chris tucker. Jamie Foxx and Bill Bellamy would have been good backups
