This Celtics team with Holiday and Porzingis is much better than that team with Smart, Robert Williams, Grant Williams, and a scary version of White who didn't want to step on toes and refused to be more aggressive on offense.Weve seen these Celtics lose to a weaker Warriors squad in the finals.
@UpAndComing and @stepbackj34spud...yall boys around the same age as I am....you've seen a lot of quality C's basketball. I know you rep the C's regardless but ain't no way you can condone Joe's philosophy on offense.
There's zero off ball action, zero half court sets, zero creativity...![]()
The Celtics offense works because they have one of the most stack teams ever the last few seasons.. Multi allstar caliber players, multiple olympians, multiple high quality role players. It’s shytty offense but when you have so many quality players that can shoot the 3, it works. Doesnt mean it’s right.
I was watching a podcast.. somebody said the Celtics would get smoked by those late 00s-mid 10s championship teams that play with an actual offense.

I know that you love the Big 3 Paul/Ray/KG era of the Celtics and the Paul/Antione era of the Celtics as much as I do, it was exciting times, and the 2008 championship is easily my favorite. But damn, it's time to move on and appreciate this current era of the Celtics breh lol
