This is a criminal court case where i was served papers to appear as a witness, i don't want nothing to do with the case. I heard i can be arrested for disobeying court orders but i don't care. Will it give me a criminal record(felony or misdemeanor) and how bad is it?

Not me breh but the victim saw me coming around the way and they know me so they are trying to use me as witness plus the prosecutor tried to call me too but i fronted like i was the brother. They even want a statement. I don't know what they bothering me for. If they got a case, then ley a nikka be

If you get pulled over with a bench warrant you go to jail and wait for your court date

You can be proactive and go to court
