If he dropped a special where he addressed the issues and went ham on himself(the right way) it could work I think. He would just have to be ready for some people to be salty af that he’s back.

Thing about being a comedian is that you can make fun of yourself and your fukk ups to get back on. He didn't rape anyone or molest kids so all he has to do is clown himself for doing that dumb shyt and say he realized how stupid it was in a comedy special and he'll be on his way back.

I feel like he's made his contribution to comedy and his "voice" isn't exactly missed at this moment so a comeback isn't really something people are itching to make happen.

Plus, the people who'd be propping him up as he mounted a comeback (alt-right type, anti-PC white guys) aren't really his demo. As crass as his is/was, he was a liberal, so he doesn't have a base of anti-establishment types to hold him down as the Twitter-left tried to bat him away again. His comeback would be a self-deprecating and "Sorry I was an a$$hole" tour and not "They tried to take me down but they can't" and that doesn't work for those alt-right guys.

I'm a fan of his stuff. He's funny, his comedy has a level of thought/intelligence to it that people who don't watch him assume he doesn't, but he's not necessary.

People like Chappelle are comedy/cultural necessities to me. Louis was a comedy luxury.
