1.use chords and chord progression, the lowest octave note in a chord progression is a good note to use when making a baseline.
2. keep grinding

make more beats lol listen to other beats outside your style. Try replicating other beats so you can see what they did. chords are a must. Depends on your style but if you stick to piano, strings, bells, baselines usually it'll sound more realistic as opposed to a bunch of synth sounds because most people make their own sounds :smugfavre: keep designing homie!!

Thats not to minimize what we do, I mean in the sense of, what sounds are in your mind, can be translated into something real
