can i drink whey protein as my main source of protein?

i have iso 100 and each scoop is 25 grams of protein.

i just started working out so im a noob

can i drink 4 of these a day and it equals 100 grams of protein? then some smaller shyt like eggs and peanut butter

im skinny and have a small stomach i can't stuff myself with a lot of food

You can....but whole foods are ALWAYS better.

There's a reason they're called SUPPLEMENTS.

Do you not eat meat with your meals? A decent serving of any meat will have 20g+ of protein.

Ugh......why not just eat? The whey shakes are obviously good for their purpose but you gotta eat. And even if you buy a 5lb tub of protein you can blow thru that wayyyyyyy faster than a normal daily serving. And at like $50 a tub for a 5 pounder the $ would go a longer way on chicken, veg, oatmeal, etc

if u were getting in an absurd amount of protein like 300G i'd say sure u can get 75-100 grams from whey...but u a skinny dude and just starting off...get your protein from food...its not just about grams but the overall calories u get from eating real food

Why do people keep saying whey is more expensive than meat? a bucket of whey will last way longer for your money than just spending it on chicken or beef.
Sure, eating real food is usually better but whey is easy, fast and almost pure high qualitiy amino acids

You can take protein in via whey protein shake, protein is protein. You can take in protein through regular food, just for the change in texture and taste. Peanut butter (or any nuts), tuna (or other fish), chicken, beef, turkey, tofu (or other soy), or eggs. Your intestinal tract will treat it the same. You will want to eat a balanced diet including foods containing carbohydrates, fiber and vitamins.

100 grams? Have you calculated your protein intake needs? If you take in more than your body ends up using, your body doesn't store it but it will poop out the extra protein. That's wasted money.
