Can eating to much peanut butter be bad for you?

its a good fat and a good source of protien...but i'd imagine eating the whole jar in one day would put your macros out of balance in terms of amount of fats you take in for the day.

Unless you happen to be the Rock's size and are around 260lbs of muscle then you can afford to eat like 3 jars a day(exxagerating) because someone like the rock is already eating at least 6000 calories a day if not more.

I would keep it to less than 5 tablespoons a day

It'll make you fat if you blow past your calorie goals. If I'm short on cals I eat a serving here or there especially when bulking.

Test will be on level 9000 with all that fat :troll:

If you eat a lot of anything you'll pack on pounds, save for vegetables. In moderation it's fine, it does have a good amount of fat, but it's the mono and poly unsaturated (good fats) rather than saturated (bad) which you find a lot in junk foods. So it's fine to eat it often, so long as your overall food intake is ok.

doesnt seem anything is working, unless i go away to a all inclusive resort i gain like 7 lbs then it vanishes

make sure you're eating good peanut butter.. not ones that have like 5 ingredients listed and add palm oil.

consume more overall calories, make sure that it's mostly healthy: lean meats, vegetables, your peanut butter, clean carbs (no junk food). The thing is, a lot of people who try to put on muscle don't eat as much as they think they do, and not enough protein.

Also, do you workout?

read the nutrition facts :usure:

if you have a target calorie number lets say 2800 or so if you are hitting that number and getting your protein youre doing right

aint nothing wrong with peanut butter but there is something wrong if you arent getting basic vitamins etc from elsewhere(be it supplements or real food)
