Can anyone help EQ my vocals real quick?

This is the last verse I dropped...



That was a month ago and I'm looking to drop something new. I remember ppl on here were saying everything was dope but I needed to be EQ'd better in this previous thread http://www.the-coli.com/tunnel/119117-check-out-my-verse-please-i-threw-kendrick-usher.html

I record and edit everything on my own to the best of my ability. The track I want to drop now is another "freestyle" track meaning I'm not looking for some superb Dr. Dre-ish mixed track or whatever that's gonna require a lot of time... I know that there are engineers on here who offer their services for a price but I just need a minor EQ to get me "somewhat" clearer because even though I thought I sounded fine, some ppl on here thought my quality could be a little better.

I have everything in order... zip file with the wav files in it.... I just need somebody who can maybe compress it a little better or mess with my highs, mids and lows... something quick and easy basically. Somebody who knows what they're doing could probably accomplish this in 5 minutes or less

Yeah man but this is just something to throw out there on YouTube.. somethin quick.... it sounds clear already, it probably just needs to go through like 1 more plugin that I don't have.

I don't have intentions on dropping it on a CD or anything. I know it comes across like I'm trying to get over for free but I'm really not asking for much. I'm not asking for a tracked out beat plus vocals to be mixed or anything.

I knew somebody'd hit me with a comment like that though, sorry if it looks like I'm trying to get over because I respect what everyone here does and I'd hate for anyone here to think I'm trying to get them to do a lot for me for free.

I only have the wav files... its only 4 tracks.... 2 verses, talking and a beat that's already compressed because its a Jay-Z beat so its really only 3 tracks that have my vocals. The reason I came here is because I basically did everything already (added like 1 lil effect, added delay, etc) but I'm not that good at adjusting the levels on the highs, mids and lows. My ears aren't as good as others so I wanted somebody here to check it out first because we're all aspiring and you guys gave me honest feedback last time. If all it needs is the H, M, L done or some type of plugin then I'd be more than happy to learn which ones to use.

I tried playing with the numbers and raising the highs sounded good but I just wanted to see what somebody here would say about the EQ'ing and if its a plugin they'll run it through, which 1 is it and which program is it compatible with. I'll email you now, thank you man..... sorry to you too if it looks like I'm trying to get over because I can see how it'd be interpreted that way but I'm not trying to get my whole track mixed down by somebody.. that's why I said it'd probably take 5 min or less since its basically done.

the files arent even dry homie, it sounds processed like somebody messed with the eq already.

I did that.. I just didn't know if it was good enough to upload

I edited it to the best of my ability... I didn't add any reverb yet though because I didn't know if it needs to be altered a little bit but I did the bulk of the work on my own.

yea but it doesnt mean you did it right. just because its EQed doesnt mean its going to sound good. You have EQed too much or compressed it too much either way it needs more work.

sounds decent already to me you're the first guy? Ima ssuming cause after its Kendrick and Usher

you use any compression on the vocal track?

I'd personally use a compressor to tame the levels, and I like to automate a vocal rider, or automate the volume to the track. Waves Vocal Rider could be a good plug in to look for.

Maybe slight reverb, and some delays on say the rhyming words, depending. Who recorded this for you? Yourself?

Thanks for the feedback man and yeah I'm first.... I edited it to the best of my abilities after I recorded myself
