Call of Duty Elite is now free

Activision has made its full Call of Duty Elite service free to all gamers, minus its included downloadable content.
Beginning with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 next month, Elite will be free to all players.

DLC will be available either individually or collectively through a "Season Pass" -- which was included as part of Elite with last year's Modern Warfare 3.

I thought I was the only one that bought cod for single player. I hate multiplayer for the most part.
