and love Blaxploitation movies of the 70s even more than modern black movies. Maybe something is wrong with me.
I love the slang talk like "jive turkey" etc, the smooth soundtracks, superb hairstyles, bravado, the "don't take shyt" attitude etc.
I don't even care that much about stereotypes in these movies, they don't bother me at all. There is also a sense and feeling that all involved in those projects back in the day really enjoyed what they were doing, it wasn't just about making money.
I have a vast collection of these films and documentaries of this genre.
fukk the NAACP and other black groups for hating back in the day,. I mean look at the nonsense we have today, majority of the stuff out today is GARBAGE, I don't see any of these clowns protesting though.
