Cali vs Colorado for Bday trip

Bdays in a few months, debating whether I should hit Cali or Colorado.... Both places have the flower game on lock, so it comes down to activities in each area. I got a homie out in Denver so I'd probably kick it with him or in Boulder, otherwise I got some fam out in Sacramento, but I'd probably travel down South around L.A./ The Bay for a few days. Plan on a staying a week in either spot.
