Diana Fleischman, the signal boosting bytch, is a lecturer/teacher of "evolutionary psychology" at University of Portsmouth. The entire field of evolutionary psychology at this point is basically just a bunch of cacs masturbating to The Bell Curve.
I looked up the bytch presenting the lecture as well, Francesca Minera. This shyt is wild...
Francesca Minerva is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences at the University of Ghent in Belgium. Her research focuses on applied philosophy, including lookism, conscientious objection, abortion, academic freedom, and cryonics. She is the author of The Ethics of Cryonics: Is It Moral to be Immortal? (2018), over thirty academic papers, and two lectures for The Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics. Now, she is co-founding The Journal of Controversial Ideas, an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal which promotes academic freedom, alongside renowned philosophers Peter Singer and Jeff McMahan. The idea originated after Ms. Minerva published “After-birth abortion: why should the baby live?” in the Journal of Medical Ethics, experiencing death threats and obstacles to employment soon thereafter.
An Interview with Francesca Minerva, Co-Founder of The Journal of Controversial Ideas
I thought I had read that incorrectly the first time. I looked up the paper and the abstract is as follows.
Abortion is largely accepted even for reasons that do not have anything to do with the fetus' health. By showing that (1) both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons, (2) the fact that both are potential persons is morally irrelevant and (3) adoption is not always in the best interest of actual people, the authors argue that what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.
After-birth abortion: why should the baby live?
Judging by some of her retweets, that journal is going to be filled with entries as well as similar troll bullshyt.
