Holy shyt Obama moved up to number 10. He was number 12 in the Feb 2017 survey.

Out of a scale of 100, Trump got 18 for moral authority, 26 for crisis leadership, 22 for administrative skills:russ::russ::dead:

There isn't one category where he got more than 50 points. The highest is 43 points for public persuasion.

Lincoln is overrated. GW should be #1

Washington was a slave owner. Also, the French helped in the War of Independence so fukk that powder wig rockin cac bytch. Meanwhile, Lincoln had to deal with the Civil War which was the bloodiest conflict in the nation’s history.

Personally, I think Woodrow Wilson is the WOAT. He was a trash individual :ehh:

Yes, he was, but he still laid the solid foundation on which we stand.

I’d honestly give more credit to Jefferson if we’re talking early America. He really built up and articulated the racist American ethos and white exceptionalism that we see today. Much of America’s vile character comes straight from that cac Tom while America’s better, more aspirational qualities came from Thomas Paine.

GW has status because he was a general which led and triumphed in the independence struggle and after the presidency he stepped down which started the standard of presidents willingly stepping aside rather than taking on kingly aspirations. Other than that I don’t see what was so great about him. Ben Franklin might’ve been a better president had he taken the chance.….:manny:

I'm not made at any of that. Ben was too old already and Washington really was the leader of the nation. He was universally respected by all. Actually, another notch in his belt for #1 is that had he not signed on the heading the Constitutional Convention, that wouldn't have happened either.

That’s fair. I didn’t know that. I just always looked at Jefferson as the more impactful president from that era. Washington was definitely a symbol and played a big role in steering early America on its path.

Plus for me, the best president is prolly FDR. Had Obama been an FDR style Dem shyt would’ve been much more interesting during his tenure. Leave it to a disabled man to show way more heart and courage. :ld:

I want to love FDR but I hate how racist his New Deal policies were.

I'm big on (or atleast the idea of) Kennedy , myself.

Named my kid after him and all.

Yeah, can’t expect a lack of racism in the 30s and 40s especially during a massive economic downturn and another World War. In a vacuum he had great policies but terrible, racist distribution.

To me, Kennedy needed more time. Plus he was good at talking up racial justice for votes while kickin the Civil Rights can down the road so he wasn’t without his faults. Not to mention Vietnam.
