Now, I've been with my husband for a very long time. We've been together since we were in high school. We have five kids, three sons and two daughters. All three of our sons are in relationships. My oldest son is in a relationship with a black girl, my second oldest son is in a relationship with a biracial girl, and our youngest son is dating a white girl. My husband has a problem with my son dating a white girl because he strongly dislikes white women because of his hatred of his sisters and the things they've done to black men throughout the years. My husband doesn't like to talk about race that much anymore and always tries to run away from the topic. When we first got together, he was always quick to speak out against issues and he was what you would consider an ally. I am okay with the relationship because I am friends with the girl's mother and she was raised quite well. Well, we had a family dinner last night and our daughters (twins, they are both 19) were discussing boys and their "types". My husband never really cared about their dating lives throughout their high school and only told them to make sure they didn't bring home any babies. Why did he tell our daughters last night that they are not allowed to bring home a black man because they will mistreat them? He's never said anything hateful about black people before last night so I was at a lost for words. I interrupted him and told my daughters that they are allowed to date whomever they would like as long as they treat them well and have something going for themselves. My daughters thought he was joking and ignored him and continued to talk about their crushes who just so happen to be black. I know he has been having issues with my brothers because he introduced them to some of his workers and they've been treating the ladies horribly but that is no reason to hate all black men. For some reason, he had a problem with my comment and has been giving me the silent treatment all day. I gave him a kiss this morning and he shrugged it off and left without even saying goodbye. Normally, he texts me throughout the day and asks me what the plans are for dinner and today he isn't even responding to any of my texts. I don't know what to do. My mother told me to go through his phone because she thinks he's probably cheating but she hates him because he wouldn't put in the good word for her with his best friend's dad. Should I curse his ass out or apologize for not letting him have his point last night?

Seems like he wanted to have his cake and eat it too ..probably caught feelings when these workers started getting that work.. but what do I know :sas1:
