this should be interesting.

WWE announced that pay-per-view revenues were $16.3 million for the three events held in the third quarter of 2012. That number compares to the $15.8 million earned for the three pay-per-view events held in the third quarter of 2011, and the $13.6 million the company made for the same quarter of 2010, and $14.5 million in the same quarter of 2009.

-July's Money in the Bank pay-per-view eared 188,000 buys, down from the 195,000 buys the event drew in 2011. The show drew 165,000 buys in 2010, and 267,000 buys when Night of Champions was held in July 2009.

-The August SummerSlam event did 358,000 buys. The show drew 296,000 buys in 2011, 350,000 buys in 2010, and 369,000 buys in 2009.

-September's Night of Champions pay-per-view produced 189,000 buys. The event scored 161,000 buy in 2011, 165,000 buys in 2010. The Breaking Point pay-per-view was held in September of 2009 and did 169,000 buys.

The pay-per-view numbers were up for two of the three events compared to the same three events in 2011. Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H headlined the SummerSlam show that saw an impressive increase. The Night of Champions event features C.M. Punk vs. John Cena in the top spot and also increased. The Money in the Bank pay-per-view was down. That show was built around the C.M. Punk vs. Daniel Bryan match with A.J. as special referee.

:mindblown: I've updated and changed the Summerslam 2011 buyrate like 5 times in the last couple of months. One week is below 300k and the next one is barely above. fukk it, I'm staying with the number in the OP .

 at PWInsider reporting just last week that MITB did "Over 200,000 buys"

I think Survivor Series is gonna do record low numbers though. As much as it's cool to see a traditional SS match were everyone involved has an established feud against each other, fact is this guys wrestle each other every damn week. No one is gonna buy the PPV to see them in a survival tag.

these are direct from the third quarter financial reports released, they're having a conference call to review today, or did an hour ago. so these are the real numbers.

same, the internet lost. or maybe it was the most streamed of the rest?

It was actually the first PPV I've purchased since, I can't even remember... Summerslam 96 or some shyt, lol. I don't even know why I did. Think I just wanted to chill out on the couch and watch it in HD as opposed to on my laptop or at the computer desk.

Got lucky that it actually came through with the wrestling and glad I went back to streaming for HIAC. :whew:
