Is there anything better than buying a complete series on blu-ray?

Being able to watch a show whenever you want in great quality and without worrying about a shytty stream or it becoming unavailable for some reason is :blessed:

I have the individual sets of Boardwalk Empire, wish I had the box but bought them as they came out. Also have The Wire, Deadwood, Rome, Dexter, The Sopranos, The Twilight Zone and Entourage. I need to watch all of them now  I've only watched Entourage in its entirety. Watched most of Deadwood then got sidetracked.

I can't convince myself to grab The Wire. That conversion to wide screen just doesn't sit right with me.

the only reason I hold off buying them is because if I hardly ever watch my 2 hour movies I'm never going to rewatch a 60 hour TV series. I'll just stick with the high def HBO Go and Netflix for those if I ever decide to rewatch those which I won't

It's kinda shytty that they "forced" Simon into that but it just looks better in 16:9 to me and it's not even close.

I don't even think Simon is really that knowledgeable about the issue, I remember reading a blog post by him a few years ago where he clearly didn't understand that HD quality (aka 1080p) and 16:9 aspect ratio were different things.

Also that Twin Peaks box set is legit. :ohlawd:

That's a BIG reason, I'm going digital. I HATE looking at my shelf of Blu-ray & DVD sets I never watch taking up so much space.

If I owned it digitally it the cloud where I can download or stream it anytime I want on all my devices, it wouldn't bother me.
