But for real tho: Why havent the original metal gear games recieved remakes?

Have you guys tried playing them shyts? they're pretty much unplayable

I thought for sure after MGS4 that we'd get remakes of those classics, but nope just more prequels.

Lot of the old NES games are frustratingly unplayable on some ulcer causing shyt. I can't believe I beat the first metal gear when I was a kid. I put it the emulator and and only got to the dogs before I had to turn it off.

But both of these games need remakes. I would cop first day as long as the don't mess them up in any way

The stories weren't too bad. Given a little extra touch ups they would be great. They fit right in with metal gear. I mean who wouldn't want to relive some of these boss fights in HD?

In MG2 you fight grayfox(that dude who would later become the cyber ninja from MGS1) but you do it bare handed

I tried playing them on the collection and I just gave up. MGS1 needs a remake itself, let alone these games. As much as I love it, the controls and graphics haven't aged well IMO.
