If you could have 5 labelmates (under your control to sign) which 5 artist would you sign & why? Present artist only.

Mine are below.

1. Jay-Z
2. Kanye West
3. T.I
4. Drake
5. J. Cole

Jay- Z- His performance and style,"Rarely breaks a Sweat", and instead uses smoothness and clever wordplay to keep the audience interested and entertained. Hov has also established himself as an entrepreneur like his fellow hip hop moguls and friends, broke records sold. Even with longevity and while hip-hop has changed through the years,he continues to reign at the top.

Kanye West- One of the most amazing musicians, film director and fashion designer in this day and age. As of 2012, West has won a total of eighteen Grammy Awards, making him one of the most awarded artists of all time. All albums have been very commercially successful. West has also been included in the Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world as well as being listed in a number of Forbes' annual lists.

T.I- One of the best artist of all time, film and music producer, actor and author. Pharrell Williams proclaimed him as the "Jay-Z of the South". His lyric's and growth with making records proclaimed him as elite artist in history. He proclaimed himself as the "King of the South" and has continued to wear the crown. He abolished careers as of Lil Flip, Shawty Lo,and held his own against Ludacris controversy.

Drake- He achieved success before signing to a major record label, according to his management Hip Hop Since 1978. He currently has more number-one singles, twelve, on Billboard's Rap Songs Chart than any other artist, and is, other than 50 Cent, the only artist to simultaneously occupy the chart's top three positions. He has the talent to sing/rap which is a threat most artist don't have. He has an amazing lyricism, and his softer songs are more delivered to a diverse audience, than the one behind the shades (wealthy audience). He continues to show growth with every record or LP he decides to work on. "Consistency" is key. He hasn't disappoint thus far.

J. Cole- He was also featured in XXL magazine 2010 version of Top Ten Freshmen. His long-awaited debut album titled Cole World: The Sideline Story debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, Top R&B Albums and Top Rap Albums chart, selling more than 217,000 in its first week sales. He received a nominations for Best New Artist at the 54th Grammy Awards. One of the best legitimate lyricist in the industry right now. All of his mixtapes/remixes have been impressive and he continues to excel, with the guidance of the legend Shawn Carter, the sky is the limit. Or to Cole World (A Dollar & Dream)!!
