He's absolutely horrific on defense, last season the Pistons were 19th defensively and 10th this year, last year the Bucks were 4th and are now 29th.
It can't work because only 1 of them is a good outside shooter, Jabari has the potential to become a good shooter but he has no defined position right now. He and Giannis could work long term if he would lose some weight and work on his body, with them switching between the 3 - 4 on offense and defense.
They shot themselves in the foot with the Knight trade, he's not a great PG but they need his shooting at the 1 in the worst way.

Neither has been in the league long. A serviceable outside shot can be obtained. Even at that as you said a PG who can shoot would cure a lot for them. If they still had sanders over Monroe that would even help.
Monroe for some reason has escaped any blame for Drummond not developing faster. Unless you are a garbage team in rebuild , any good team needs to stay away from him

nikka please with the stats the moment they traded knight for mcw they have been trash with the exception of middleton aint no other player worth a damn on the outside teams have to worry about.
Give me a stat with knight and with mcw that trade was terrible the bucks got the worst player in the deal by far while boston got the best

It can be but that's going to take a while if it does happen, Giannis is making strides but unless Jabari loses weight and works on his body they will have a problem with him not being able to guard the 3, which would put him at the 4 where he'd be involved in PnR vs opposing PGs.
Monroe could be like Zach Randolph in the future, but you need a truly elite interior defender next to him (Drummond isn't that). Just watching them it's really apparent that Giannis is their best player, with the most potential by a really big margin too.

Monroe needs someone next to him that can shoot and guard outside the paint and protect the rim.
