North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un‘s uncle was stripped naked, locked in a cage and then eaten alive by a pack of dogs, according to a Chinese newspaper linked with China‘s rulingCommunist Party.
This report has yet to be confirmed, but is being published by NBC News among other credible sources.
Jang Song Thaek, long considered KJU’s second-in-command, was executed last month after his crazy nephew became suspicious that he was trying to undermine his authority.
How Jang was put to death, however, was not specified when the news first broke on December 12.
Hong Kong-based newspaper Wen Wei Po has reported that Jang, along with his five closest aides, were killed by 120 hounds that had not eaten in five days.
Kim, his brother Kim Jong-Chol and 300 other officials oversaw the entire process, which took about one hour. The newspaper is quoted as saying that Jang and the aides were “completely eaten up.”
According to NBC News, Wen Wei Po is known as the voice of China’s Communist Party, which is technically allies with North Korea. But since Jang Song Thaek was one of the few North Korean officials dedicated to maintaining this alliance, the report of these gruesome executions may signal China’s desire to end this partnership.
North Korea stated in the state-owned news agency that Jang was guilty of “attempting to overthrow the state by all sorts of intrigues and despicable methods with a wild ambition to grab the supreme power of our party and state.”
KJU’s regime also accused his uncle of corruption, womanizing, gambling and drug use, referring to him in the media as “despicable human scum.”
Jang was the husband of KJU’s aunt, Kim Kyong Hui, the younger sister of Kim Jong-il, KJU’s predecessor.
