The real reason why Macho isn't in is because he declined.

They reached out and asked him to be in the HOF, but he said he only wants to go in as a family with his father Angelo Poffo & his brother Lanny Poffo. It's either a package deal or he doesn't go in.

Lanny confirmed this in an interview not too long ago, and said he would hold on to Macho's wishes.

But as a family, they represented a whole company. The Von Erichs were World Class. Fritz ran it and was a legend in Texas... David, Kerry, and Kevin were the stars... granted Mike and Chris didn't do much. But as a family, they were WCCW.

Now on the other hand... Angelo Poffo is mostly known as Savage's father, and Lanny... granted, he was about as over as a jobber could get. Savage is one of the most popular wrestlers of all time. Not the same thing.
