According to Impact, Huang Kin Long (better known as Bruce Le or Huang Kin Long) – star of the Bruceploitation classicsEnter the Game of Death and Clones of Bruce Lee – has just wrapped up a redux of a movie he directed in 1992 calledComfort Women. The upcoming film stars Cheng Pei-pei (Golden Swallow, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and her daughter Marsha Yuen.
In even better news, while Le visited the set of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Pound of Flesh, Le told Impact’s Mike Leeder that he has plans to return to the international arena with a new action martial arts project. If this is true, then old school kung fu cinema fans will have one hell of a field day! So what does Le look like today? Well, here’s a photo of him with Mike Leeder, Darren Shahlavi and Mike Moller on the set of Pound of Flesh. Simply amazing!
Updates: During a Q&A session at the SENI Strength & Combat Event in London, Hwang Jang Lee (Secret Ninja Roaring Tiger, Tower of Death) mentions the possibility of reuniting with Challenge of the Tiger co-star Bruce Le: “We made a few movies together in Europe.
