Police: Teens busted with 3,200 fentanyl pills at summer school
SAN LUIS, AZ (WKEF/WRGT)- Three teens in Arizona were arrested this week after police said they had more than three-thousand fentanyl pills on them during summer school.
"Even half a pill can kill someone," Lt. Marco Santana with San Luis Police told CNN-affiliate KYMA. "It's obviously a very dangerous drug and there's no control."
Two of the teens will be tried as adults, authorities said, the third, a boy, will be charged as a minor.
Police said the pills cost $15 a piece on the black market.
One parent who spoke to KYMA but did not want to be identified said the school did not notify parents of the bust. "You always hear that there are drugs in the schools and there's not much attention going on right now from the district."
WHY BRING ALL THOSE DRUGS TO SCHOOL INSTEAD OF SELLING IT OFF TO SOME BIG DEALERS FOR A CUT OF THE OVERALL PROFIT... they gonna give these girls fed time!!!
