Bundog, born Mark Gardner Jr, is the older brother of rapper Pressa from Toronto, Ontario who has been residing in Los Angeles, California since 2019. The two cofounded BFR which stands for "Blue Feather Records". Bundog was released on parole in 2020 after having served two-thirds of a 10-year prison sentence stemming from a 2015 conviction.

The police operation in 2011 known as Project Marvel resulted in the raids of members and associates of the Young Buck Killers, centered in Driftwood Avenue near northside Jane Street in Toronto, who were charged with narcotics and firearms trafficking, shootings and other alleged crimes across Canada. Bundog and two other men were accused of being the leaders of the criminal operation.

His sister is a babymama and ex-girlfriend of Longway's brother.
