  • megapowers savage
  • Early heel Hart foundation
  • Prime Jimmy Hart
  • Prime ELIZABETH
  • Neidhart with sneaky tactics
Outstanding heel work by foundation...savage does the second half with ONE BOOT on...sells, maybe the greatest sell job of an injury I've seen in match, ever....this is no hyperbole

This is just...the most 80s goat shyt ever...an outstanding tv match nobody talks about. I couldn't believe I forgot it..

I actually encourage you to watch the entire episode on WWE Network...it's 80s greatness..the whole episode is to make the megapowers strong and lead to mania iv....this and the SNME and wrestling challenge /superstars that run are why I love wrestling.

Love this match. A young HitGOAT and Savage with an all-time sell job. Great wrestling
The Hart foundation was so hatable...just true sneaky b*stards. Low key the revival got a lot from the brain Busters but their heel tactics are VERY reminiscent of the Hart foundation

When those SNME's dropped on the network I sat there for a couple days and must have watched like 10-12 episodes it's just the GOATest shyt ever. :wow:

So many memorable moments like these.. Andre and Hogan with the twin Hebners is crazy, one of the most watched wrestling programs in history. Hogan is screwed, Million Dollar Man attempts to purchase the WWE championship.

Tag wrestling was at an all time high, Brain Busters, Harts, Rockers, Demolition, Rogeaus etc

To me, this is up there as of the greatest hours of wrestling television ever produced

The Mountie was amazing. Piper still was good at this point.

The build up and backstory with Sid and Hogan. The payoff with Sid leaving Hogan.

Four GOATs , Sid Hogan Flair Taker in the ring at once. Perfect, Paul Bearer and Brutus before we all realized he was trash, on the outside.

Heenan and Vince on commentary

Jake and Macho main eventing.

All that in 46 minutes :wow:

Hitman/Macho Man was the dream feud I always wanted to happen. Anytime they were in the ring together, shyt was magic.

That Survivor Series match where Bret ate the elbow drop was a low-key come up, when dudes was getting washed by clotheslines and hooked tights.

It wasn't a sell job. Savage was legit hurt. When Bret slammed savage's ankle against the post it fukkked up his shyt for real. Bret wrote about this in his book.

Bret hates this match because he said he had a fast paced, exciting, match mapped out with savage at first, but then vince wanted it changed at the last minute to focus on savage's ankle.

He was selling before that though :francis: he started selling the moment he got tossed over the top, and Ventura sold that the Hart foundation saw the injury and exploited it.

I'm calling that a Bret-tale
