Aiwa used to run ish back in the late 90's and early 00's.

They had the coolest looking "boom boxes", CD players, and the sound quality was dope. It was always perfectly priced vs the quality you got.

Then it's like they just disappeared.

Aiwa was right there neck and neck with Sony in the late 90's. My mom used to keep a mean Aiwa Portable Cassette player.

I guess Sony just blew them nikkas out eventually
