I'm seeing a new trend on TikTok and Reddit where women are forbidding the man's parents and family from seeing their newborn child but, it's okay for their parents to come :dahell:

It sounds so bizarre to me :patrice:

Was away from "home" when I had my kids with no family around to even have this debate.

But the only way it makes sense is if there is tension with the mans parents which isn't unheard of. And at that time of birth/after a woman can be very emotionally fragile and keeping her stress down should be a priority for her and the babie's sake.

That’s wack. I do know someone personally who had his moms in the hospital room with his girl and her mamma. He said they got in an argument about it and she basically caved. That’s wack to me tho. You can’t blame a woman who is about to go through excruciating pain with a living being coming out of her vagina for not wanting a crowded room. I didn’t even consider asking anyone to be in that room other than my wife mother..But after birth both parents should be able to come to the hospital unless the woman just absolutely hates her in laws. In that case, the hospital is going to listen to the patient and deny entry

One of my homeboys said he got child support paperwork in the delivery room.
I sat back and said I never heard no shyt like before :ohhh:
What state is this. Not saying your friend lying, but he probably confused with something else You can’t get a child support court order before a baby is born or even immediately right after. That shyt is still a process. I’m married but I know that paternity can only be assumed right away if he is the husband. Delivery room is way too fast

Agreed. The MIL shouldn't be in the hospital room unless the girl wants it for whatever reason. But the few threads I've read....alot of women don't want anyone seeing the baby period for the first few weeks (except their own mom of course).

No but my family was the only ones to show up outside of her father :mjpls:
Exwife was hurt be it was to be expected
She carried years of anger because of it and only allowed her father to see my daughter
Her side of the family and her mother tried to blame me for it but I never held them back from seeing my exwife and daughter
I was accommodating because I never wanted to be THAT guy but my ex was on demon time
I’ll always say she stood ten toes in our relationship and never let smut get thrown on my name
We were just too gotdamn young and filled with trauma (told that story on here and what ethnicity my ex was:mjpls:
Surprisingly before our divorce is when her folks stopped the bullshyt
Me and her mom are real cool now even til this day
Now my current doesn’t want kids but if we “slipped” up so to speak
She ain’t on no time like that
That’s why I say if this ends
No bytch ever got to worry about me in these streets
I’ll throw all these women in the garbage
I’ve only been lucky 5 times in my life on meeting a sane female
All 5 times was me ending it for various reasons (except my current)
Ain’t too many built like that from this generation or previous
