Which are the ones you recommend :jbhmm:

I tried a free online website, and it sounded like a British female robot. Need something more natural sounding

Your welcome, breh. They got different accents too . Try them out. They give the various voices different names andet you choose speed of speech. The sweet spot is 1.65x

Do you have an computer/laptop with a decent graphics card?

If so, you can install:

GitHub - SWivid/F5-TTS: Official code for "F5-TTS: A Fairytaler that Fakes Fluent and Faithful Speech with Flow Matching"

Which is free/open-source

And is easiest to install with Pinokio: https://pinokio.computer/

Why all this Github and Pinokio stuff. I don't get it. Why can't I just install Eleven Labs on my laptop directly and call it a day?

Eleven Labs works, it has limits plus cost.

The Open-Source option is unlimited use, no cost.

For simplicity sake, Eleven Labs might be easier to use, if you rather not deal with the Github/Pinokio setup

Ok so is Pinokio kind of like Limewire or Vuze where it's a laptop program that you can download/upload files?

Pinokio is basically like "Roku For AI Apps".

It streamlines installing AI apps, Python environment, Conda etc...

Pretty much once you have it downloaded, and you have a decent enough Graphics Card, you can run most (opensource/free) AI Apps locally.

Not all free/opensource AI apps have Pinokio install scripts, but many of the main ones do.

Check it out when you have time.
