The Radio Songs chart, formerly known as Hot 100 Airplay, is published weekly by Billboard and tracks the airplay of songs across all genres on U.S. radio stations. It's one of the three key factors, along with sales and streaming, that determine a song's position on the Billboard Hot 100. The chart debuted on October 20, 1984, as a 30-position chart, expanded to 40 positions in 1986, and to 75 positions in 1990. Today, it features 50 positions.
