I agree but throw some Squats, deads, benches, military presses and variations of those exercises and you'll be eating.

My college roommate told me crew was the hardest sport of all...I called ducktales back then, but it might very well be because of the consistency you have to keep that motion going. It's a helluva workout that's for sure. I can't nearly do as much weight on it as I can other machines.

Yeah I stand by this joint. Get you a 1:30-2:15 pace per 500m and do that for about 2500-3500 meters. I always use the pace boat so it's like a race.

Let's see all the muscle groups it works. If you bend your knees and extend them as you row, you work legs. As your pushing off with your knees and you lean back, you're working lower back. The pulling motion works your biceps and upper back and shoulders and chest. The only thing I can think of that's not getting hit directly is the tricep.

The row might be the most efficient and affective exercise in rotation :ohhh:

I wouldn't call it the best.
My gym just got two of them recently. I used to use them a long time ago for a cardio workout. I don't do anything superman, but try to do 1000 meters for a short fast row workout and 5000 meters for a long, paced row workout. I'm sweating my balls off as much as when I'm on the treadmill.
But, I see people rowing like they are going on some fishing trip. :comeon:
