Much like Frazier/Ali III where Ali couldn't continue and all Frazier had to do is stand up for the 15th he would've won, Sendo HAD that first fight

Sendo still a boss in the Manga, though he got a shoddy decision over Vorg

The rematch was crazy, but thus is Hajime no Ippo

You watch Baki, you won't regret it. The fights are crazy but it flirts with reality enough to stay raw looking.
For real, japan got soft.

I don't really read Ippo like that, nor do I watch a lot of anime anymore, so that was my first time watching this fight...

Holy shyt was that great. Had me thinking that Ippo was really gonna get crushed there at some points. Excellent, excellent stuff.

On a side note, any of you read History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi? There's a new OVA being made depicting the YOMI/YAMI arc. Hopefully they don't screw it up, because many great fights could come from it:
