It was my girls turn to pick the flick. (I picked Guardians last time) I normally don't do black romantics but knowing it wasn't Tyler Perry affiliated and from the same people who made Love and Basketball I thought to myself this might not be too bad. Got the deluxe seats and figured at the very least I can get some food and get faded during the flick.

What can I say bruhs this film was the definition of BLACK LOVE :mjcry:
The lead actress was. :wow: :takedat: gorgeous. To my surprise the leading male actor was a dark skinned brother :blessed: At first I noticed the lead chick was abandoned by her dead beat black father and thought :stopitslime: not these stereotypes again. But they had my man Danny Glover playing role of POPS. And as the movie progressed I found my self being :ohhh: @ the storyline and the quality of acting. The lack of stereotypes was refreshing and the overall story was compelling. The soundtrack of the movie was dope as well.

All in all brehs I recommend you take your main chick to this film. :ehh: Got some play @ the end night.
Take your side pieces and jumpoffs to John Wick so they don't get it twisted. :lolbron:
