Amir Khan is calling out Floyd Mayweather for his final fight in September.
I'm really not interested in seeing Floyd fight anyone else.

Personally speaking, his style isn't entertaining and he's just going to win anyway.
Khan got demolished by Danny Garcia. And even Danny Garcia would be a lame match for Floyd because Garcia is too slow.

So with that out of the way, what are the boxing match-ups that you want to see made?

:lupe:

I think the fall should bring us Cotto vs Canelo.
I kinda think Broner vs Garcia would be interesting.

Obviously, Canelo-Cotto is the biggest left.

I wanna see Bradley-Thurman though. Won't happen, but I think this is a very good fight stylistically.

GGG-Ward is another I want to see.

Wilder-Fury.

AB-DSG

Crawford-AB

AB-Khan

There's a lot of potentially good fights to be made.

I don't want to see GGG vs Ward.
I don't think Ward will engage with him at all.

Which is what would make it great. It'll be what we thought Pac-PBF would be. Difference is G3 knows how to cut off the ring effectively, and Ward is a master boxer.

So, that's s great fight.

I just wanna get the next generation booming now, it's time for PBF, COTTO, PAC, JMM and the rest of those guys to go. Last night was the final chapter of that era.

Nah man. It'll be exactly like Pac/Mayweather.

GGG chasing Ward all around the ring....and Ward clutching every time GGG gets him on the ropes.
I've seen this fight a thousand times, breh.

Ward would get the decision, unless you somehow found a referee that actually warns and takes points for excessive clutching....which we obviously know Kenny Bayless won't do. :skip:

Nah, two reasons it won't be.

Ward ain't got Floyds stamina or chin. So if he gets tapped he's going down. Second reason, everything G3 throws has some Effect. whether it's body punches or upstairs. I really like that fight.

Another difference between GGG-award and PBF-PAC is GGG has an extensive amateur background. Pac is/was great but GGG is refined and cerebral. Not as good a boxer as Ward, but the distance between them as boxers is not as big as it is for FLOYD and Pac.

People point out GGGs power, but don't get him confused with just being a power puncher. He has great control of range, knows how to set traps, nice stiff jab, and has very good footwork. A bit heavy on the feet, but doesn't take unnecessary steps. Sort of like Frazier with how he can close distance so fast without being really light or quick on his feet.
