Brehs, is TNA worth watching?

Serious question. I'm thinking of fukkin with it I'm not sure. School me, TSC. I watched a few years ago back when Hogan came and invaded TSC, and introduced all this bullshyt and I thought it was way cornier than WWE and WCW ever were.

Is it worth investing into now tho?

Yup, it's not re-inventing the wheel but it's got interesting characters. Good to great mic work and the matches more often than not deliver. It's got a couple of guys you'd rather not see/pushed but that's true of any company. The matches and backstage skits/comedy is what the E wishes they could pull off and their approach to basic backstage stuff is innovative. The Knockouts are and the camera men really perv out on them.

One downside is commentary. Taz overdoes it on innuendo and jokes that take away from the action while downplaying the action much like Larry Zybysko without putting himself over as much. Think 1997 Jerry Lawler after all of his material is outdated and not clever with a stammering delivery.

It's pretty terrible. The WWE ain't great now, but the last thing I want to do is watch WWE rejects in some orlando studio.

With the PG Era, TNA had a chance to differentiate themselves from the WWE in a good way and push new stars. Instead, they let Hogan bring in the same awful crap, old WWE wrestlers, etc.

I have friends that still ask me why Angle won't unretire and come back to WWE and when I tell them where he wrestles they're like

Yeah, Chavo made the jump not too long ago. A lot of unintentional comedy surrounded his arrival. He's the tag team champions along with Hernandez from the former LAX.

Kurt Angle: I've had a lot of great matches with the late great Eddy Guerrero. I've also wrestled Chavo

Back on topic, they've scaled the E washouts back a lot. The only guys from the E that are getting a lot of shine these days are the Dudley Boyz and Hardy. I don't remember the last time I've seen Kennedy and Angle doesn't get three segments a night anymore.
