Yes!!!! It's a Very good show that is underrated & underappreciated.
J.J. Abrams is the Head Writer, Director, Showrunner, & executive producer on the show, unlike on his later shows.

that a good to very good show that ran 5 seasons that had that many big names on the cast & crew is underappreciated & underrated.Here are a few trailers for the DVD releases:

It and 24 were the godfathers of the movie budget tv shows, seasons 1 and 2 are worth a look but the standard drops severely beyond that
It has one of the greatest pilots in all of TV. S1 and 2 have every episode leaving you wanting more, especially with cliffhangers. I like S3 as well. You can skip S4 then watch 5. It's one of my all time favorites

Definitely worth watching. It's because of shows like Alias and 24 that the newer shows like Homeland, Covert Affiars, Burn Notice and White Collar were even made. A lot of people don't like the later seasons since they completely retool the show and introduce a lot of science fiction and fantasy elements. But just watch it and judge for yourself.
That's ridiculous. Season 4 is more than watchable.
But season 4 has hardly anything to do with the rest. They damn near abandoned the whole mythology, ignored important details and threw out continuity. I watch it but they really dumbed it down for season4. By the time season 5 rolled around. it was too late.
I put my mans on to it. About 3/4 through season 1, he was like
He's too smart to be that oblivious to them. How long is this supposed to last?

it was good.. it had all the pieces of a show that i should've loved, but i didn't.
the first 2 seasons are easily the best. then it feels like they're just making shyt up as they go along.
by the end of season 4, i was too tired of it to watch the final season.

The final season they somewhat redeem themselves and go back to tying it together. You'd love the finale.
