I remember so many of y'all have shytted on this movie severely in the past, not to mention the bad reviews. I have boycotted this movie for so long but now I have decided I will finally watch it for the sake of fukkery.


But before I watch, if I may ask again..... Now that time has passed, was it really that bad???

Did M. Knight really fukk it up or is most of the anger about the changing of character races?

For a movie on a source with so much material... he dumbed down alot. The dialogue is horrible and the action just doesn't live up to the show. The movie is missing what makes Avatar:TLA such a great show. The light hearted humor.

I mean I understood M. Night's vision... but that's it. It's poorly executed. I understood he wanted to the characters more diverse.... which he did... but just not in the right way and it pissed a lot of people off.

It's damn sure not worst than Dragonball Evolution. It is at least faithful to the source as far as story goes. Just the casting was horrendous, Noah Ringer did aight but his the script was obviously crap, Noah was the only cast I liked.

The movie is 4/10 to me. Great concept and ideas, but just poorly executed with poor casting and questionable, unnecessary changes.

That's the worst thing about the movie.... it was boring. I kept trying to give it a chance since I loved the series so much, but it just never happened. To the OP, there are no characters in this movie at all... everybody exists to spout exposition as the movie speeds to finish the line. It's like the characters are just explaining things as they go from place to place. M. Knight cashed in on a hack job. Patel and Toub did well with what they had though.

movie is fukking atrocious. if you follow the source material, its a fukking slam dunk, yet m night somehow managed to fukk it up. I mean how the fukk do you have your actors mispronouncing the main character's name for the whole goddamn movie ? makes you wonder if m night had ever watched an episode of the show in his life. film should ha e been epic and started a trilogy instead it won razzies and was terrible..

Just finished it and all I can say is WOW..... and not in a good way......

I will say.... I would like for them to finish this story because the Earth Bending Arc was my fav arc..... but yes..... they gotta do better
