From the late 80s to mid 90s.

I mean I went back and watched a couple of eps today and it stands the test of time. I am a grownass man and it's not as corny as one might think watching it back.

Just brings back great childhood memories.

Saw the punk frogs one just now and it dawned on me that Uncle Phil voiced Shredder :leon:

yep turtles still stand the test of time  the show rarely diverged into corny territory.

Loved it as a kid. Didn't age well IMO though.

What did you guys think of the reboot that started in 2003? :obama:

:whoo:

That reboot changed the game. Had the turtles back on that real gritty street shyt.

Had me thinkin' the shyt I grew up on was wild corny...and it was for the most part :damn:

I remember watchin' the OG joint when I was a kid and it was already airin' on the reg. One day they started the series from the beginnin' again. Those first several episodes were the grimiest I ever seen the turtles. Even Beebop and Rocksteady were not to be fukked with :ohhh:. After those eps, "I was like :wtf:. Why can't the rest of the series be like that?" Never saw that cartoon the same again :manny:

First TMNT movie is one of my favorite films of all time. So gritty, so NY.

The 2003 cartoon series wasn't bad actually. Not bad at all.
