4 sets of Squats
4 sets of Deadlifts
4 sets of Bench
4 sets of Rows
4 sets of Standing Press
4 sets of Curls
4 sets of Flys
4 sets of Tricep Extensions
4 sets of Pull/Chin ups
4 sets of Dips

I always do squats and deadlifts whenever I work out, then I usually pick 4 other workouts from the list to do. I'm hitting the weights 3 times a week, and on "rest" days I usually do some heavy cardio(sports, running, etc...). Is it really necessary to have a dedicated lower body day or is this regiment fine?

How long are you in there, 3 hours??????? Split that shyt up :mindblown:

Naw but for real, that looks pretty brutal. You must have a lot of energy

:pachaha:

Usually take me an hour and 40 minutes if the gym isn't too full. I'm not trying to do a split routine at the moment because I'd rather spend those extra days doing cardio

I like it. I just don't think the frequency is necessary. I do all of those.

for me it's monday - legs, tuesdays = shoulder/back/traps, wednesday = core, thursday off, friday = arms, saturday = off, sunday = chest/core

Weird split, but it works for me.

How long are you usually in the gym for breh? I really try to avoid being in the gym more than 3 days a week, thus my preference for full body workouts

How heavy are these lifts?

I do enough weight to complete 8 reps. On extensions and standing press I do 10 reps. For flys I do 10 reps in 3 different positions for 1 set. So, 8:10:30 I guess for a regular day

On heavy days it's 5:7:30 (I always do the same amount of flys).

Day one
3 sets of 8-10 reps squats
between sets 2 min rest
3 sets 8-10 reps romanian deadlifts
5 sets 8-10 reps standing calf raises
1:30 plank
and side plank
Day two
3 sets of 8-10 bench press 75-80% of 1rm
3 sets of 8-10 incline dumbbell bench
3 sets of 8-10 triceps pushdowns or triceps extensions
3 sets 8-10 overhead press
incline dumbbell curls 3x10
Day three
5 sets 5 reps Deadlift
3 x 10 pull ups
3 sets 8-10 reps lat pulldowns
3 sets 10-12 dumbbell rows
1:30 plank and side plank
incline weighted sit ups 3x15

This way your workouts are more manageable and take less time. Also never go below 60% of your 1 rep max on any of these if you trying to build muscle.
