brehs... how do I do this calorie deficit (weight loss) thing without feeling like I got no energy

I'm lifting, and doing light cardio right now. don't have too much weight to work off. Just got a belly that I want to get rid of

I'm eating less but sometimes like right now, my energy levels feel low

how y'all doing this without feeling drained all the time?

Ive been doing the same

Ive been drinking coffee and going to sleep earlier to compensate

You need to gradually reduce yiur caloric intake. Eat more chicken and leafy vegetables and eat a reduce/moderate portion of carbs.

Key is was eating large portions of meals with reduced calories. For example a big chicken salad. Stay away from foods that are small but have high calorie amount. Stay from soda and alcohol.

Coffee and black tea with 0 calorie sweetner if you can't drink either black. Sugar free redbulls if you don't like either one.

Only thing you really need to cut is carbs.

If you do cut calories only cut like 500 from your normal caloric intake at first

First couple weeks will be hard and sluggish then you will overcome it and be ok again

Make sure you're not in too big of a deficit. Stick with a 500-1000 calorie deficit which should amount to a 1-1.5 pound of weight loss per week. Also if energy is still an issue make sure you're eating enough carbs.
