brehs and brehskis, I have a dilemma (music related)

I'm playing this show in Williamsburg here in Brooklyn next Friday. It sounds exciting but, I don't know if it's because I'm older now or just not as passionate about music anymore, but I kind of don't even want to play this show.

Last year I would of been all about it, but after dealing with a couple of shytty jobs and the cat and mouse game of getting ahead with bills and rent, i just feel so drained and not motivated to even play this show.

Although, I'm definitely confident in my abilities. I could just download some songs and as long as I have traktor/serato two turntables and mixer I'll be able to kill it with no practice. I think it has to do with the fact I'd been trying to do the music thing for so long and haven't really seen any real success and seeing how many EDM djs there are playing the same thing with almost the exact same image, that I'm just not feeling it any more.

make your self a small side set. the first set make it generic just like you said. and make that side set crazy. and let them know right before you go into that real set. "AY that first set was fun right? crowd goes crazy... you respond "naw that wasnt hot thats that generic nonsense..i got something for yall..." then hit em with your own legit set. kill it. and call it a night.
