lack of good conversation, no common friends, not doing anything fun outside of the house. it's just like a friendship - if you met someone who lacked all these things you probably think they are boring and won't make an effort to kick it with them. People in general are boring and shouldn't expect their spouses to be some form of entertainment. If you're normally sitting around looking dumb on Friday night, a spouse only makes it so y'all look dumb together. Of course this is different from anti-social people that don't like to do anything or go anywhere, but for the most part it's not all that exciting and I don't expect it to be.

You have to be able to entertain yourself before getting in a relationship. Relationship shouldn't be crazy boring, but you shouldn't expect someone else to keep you entertain. What you were doing as a hobby or past time before should still keep you entertained once you are in a relationship.

My boyfriend is always up to something it seems. And he has a good understanding of push and pull, going hot then cold. It's an interesting dynamic. He'll lay on the affection and attention and as soon as it starts getting on my nerves he pulls away and I do the same to him.

The conversation is great, though it is not required 24-7.

Hes also the kind of dude that'll walk into a room and just jump into a convo, asking questions I'm not prepared for because some idea popped into his head.
