As someone who was adopted by someone not black, I truly hate this thread. I love my moms to death because she had a plethora of options, she choose me, and she was a completely different race and color. I was embarrassed for a long time when I was younger but I realize how much love she had given to me when I was older.

She was a foster parent first who kept the sister of that boy after her biological family ain’t claim her. They got different rules than adopting from a private adoption where you can specify race.
