The fukked up thing was when you realize it was a parody of the 80's and the fukked up state of everything. Robocop killed people after telling them to freeze. Kind of forecasting the future.
oh wow.. I didn't even think about it like that. first time I watched it, I was real young and shouldn't have been watching it (but when you have older brothers babysitting you while parents were out, that's how it goes.. lol).. and they watched it multiple times. Recent watch was a few years back- it's also notable how they used Detroit as the origin city for this. And there's a comment on a website that says the CEO dude was wearing an apple watch during the meeting and it was the 80s. Lots of forecasting- when you become an adult, we become more perceptive and aware, if we're receptive to it. Majority of people don't think beyond the images on the screen.
A lot of those old sci-fi stories forewarned fascism and police states in the future. Look at 1984, Look at Brave new world. Blade Runner and Neuromancer will be up next. Either that or Snow Crash. Scary shyt.
