Reading her backstory was even more tragic. She no longer has to withstand pain and agony, for she can be at peace. Sucks that she didn't get her due mainly because of her origins (coming from middle class but rapping about the street shyt), and dealing with sex appeal over lyrics.RIP

yeah I just heard. it was one of my favorite albums of 1993 when I was in high school. The beats from Def Jef and Erick sermon were hard and the rhymes were dope. I know she had been sick for a while.

The crazy part about that is that it's in the intro of her album. She put it on the album!!! So she told the world about her upbringing and then the media came out with all of this so called exposure of her stating what was said on the intro of her album. I never understood it at the time. It's like me telling the world, "I'm not rich", and then a few months later reports come out as someone tries to expose me for not being rich
